Hey dude I've been through the same thing. I had a dog that lived with me my whole life. His name was Cooper and he lived to be 14 years of old. When I was little he would always protect me from everything. I use to lay down with him and use as my pillow, he was the best dog I ever had. We had to put him down because he was having a lot trouble just getting up. I cried but not a lot because I knew he was gonna go one day. He's probably having so much fun up there in doggy heaven, he's probably even playing with his old friends use to have. I hope you are doing ok and I really hope my Cooper meets your good boy because they'd probably hit it off!
