I feel for this guy. What is the purpose of giving ticket for the same thing within an unreasonable time frame? Like giving one ticket for a week makes sense but three? Come on!
Usually you get a grace period of 24 to 48hrs and need to go to the police station to show proof before you even need to pay a ticket. I'm Canadian so it may be different for others
It was my understanding that the cops run the plates first. When you pay for a new sticker, it automatically updates that information in association to your license plate. So, if it is already paid for, then it will not register as invalid.
but that only counts if the cop runs/traces the plates which looks like is not happening in this case :(
