What happened during that war the Boomers had when they were young?
Something about forcing young poor men to die in Vietnam so young rich kids could go to college and complain about sending poor men to die in Vietnam so the rich kids could make money screwing the country over and telling poor people fifty years later to "suck-it-up-buttercup". Or something?
I started Uni just September. My course fees are about £1,800 per year but I live in Scotland so I get up to 5 years paid for me for free. This means you have the chance to start a career debt free. I still need to pay for my supplies and tools but it's absolutely nothing compared to what you guys and girls have to put up with in America.
How is anyone supposed to get an education without bankrupting themselves?
Millennial here who lost his job after eight years as a professional engineer with a masters degree. I looked for work for 7 months and the best I could get was as a substitute teacher making ~$12 an hour. Now I’ve emigrated to another country with universal health care and am pursuing a PhD (and getting paid to do so). So long America, it’s been nice knowing you.
