Good, civil response from the owner while still managing to make the review look like an idiot. I approve.

Customers like that are why warning labels such as “not to be used for navigation” are included on packages of napkins with decorative roadmap printings.

Also props to the owner for having the class and professionalism they showed in the response.

I love escape rooms. I've only been once.

The escape room reviewed my group..

We went in about 2 hours before close just to see if they had space. They had one room available called candyland. So they review the rules, give us instructions and strap us into a roller coaster seat. first challenge is to find out how to unlock it so you can get out.

So here we are, probably 15 minutes into a task that should have took maybe 2 or 3 minutes. We are arguing, strapped down and about to call for assistance when someone figures it out by chance.

The rest of the rooms go the same way. Lots of arguing, guesswork and the occasional call for a tip. By the end, the host had not only given us two extra tips but she had given us extra time. We still couldn't get out.

When she comes to rescue us, she kind of mocks us and says "what are you guys, color blind?"

Uh. Yes. 3 out of 4 of our group was. It was an entirely color based challenge. I guess the fourth was just bad at puzzles.

She thought it was so funny and said she had always hoped someone with color blindness would go through the challenge. Took a picture with us holding signs that taunted us for losing and posted it on their fb.

It was the best
