My gran used to feed them sausages. No idea if it did them any harm, but they seemed to prefer it to bread.

There one thing about this that I refute, and it's the bit where the ducks say "our friends, the swans". No one has a swan for a friend. Swans don't want to be your friend, they want to hurt you.
