I guess this was taken during the period when Cumberbatch was actually available. He filmed a TV show and another movie during the production and they used a stand in for a lot of it. Thats why hes so detached on Titan. Basically by himself for the majority of it or in the background floating with the time stone while everyone else talks. They hid it really well all things considered, I bet a lot of people had no idea.
