The Nazis didn't reject Christian values, they embraced them. Christians have been regularly massacring Jews for millennia. The Crusaders may have killed a higher percentage of the world's Jews than the Nazis did.

Were crusaders Christians? Were conquistadors Christians? Were slave owners in America Christians? Yes they were, and their beliefs didn't stop them at all, so how is reflecting these beliefs responsible of doing the same kind of shit Christians did before them? On top of that the nazi-Germany never rejected Christianity so get your facts and logic straight Ben Shapiro.

That kind of argument would bear more weight if he could point to the places where religion has been an effective counter or even just a brake on appalling state behaviour, throughout most of western history established churches have been complicit.
