Something like that happened to me: I was at a festival, one of the Securities who worked at the entrance/where you get your wristband recognized me from the year before and said "you again?!". I had a brief back and forth with him the year before, which was basically a "hello, thank you" or something. I was very confused since I saw a lot of people getting past him and he didn't say this to anyone else. He did mean me but I don't know what was so memorable about me.
