I grew up a nerd with nerd friends. I never outright hated jocks, but I didn't like them. My senior year of high school I was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes. The dr. Told me I need to diet and exercise. I had been in a gym a few times, but wasn't comfortable. I go in my first day and there are 2 of the biggest jocks in my school I had a few classes with. They immediately asked me to workout with them and showed me the ropes. Now I have been lifting for over 10 years and look nothing like I used to, but I am still that nerd deep down. I still have nerd friends and try to help anyone I can in the gym. So this meme is pretty close to home in more way than one.
