While her boss was still home recovering from her kidney transplant, the woman was expected back at work. After her attendance became sporadic due to complication from DONATING HER FUCKING KIDNEY TO SAVE HER BOSSES LIFE they fired her.
*I want to add that after familiarizing myself with the story again that the woman did not take 12 weeks of leave, only 4. FMLA is a guaranteed 12 weeks off if a physician says that its medically necessary. In this case, she chose to return early.
