I had this happen to me, I had a client who I told I require a 20% deposit fee (I do photography on the side so it’s not a major source of income it just keeps people from cancelling/not paying). The date she wanted to book, she had up until a week before the date to pay the booking fee before I’d move on to someone else. She didn’t pay it and someone else got the date and paid the deposit fee immediately, and she got mad I gave her date away. But I told her she had 3 weeks to pay the booking fee and she didn’t. (I reminded her once a week and each time she kept saying she’d pay it and she never did) So I moved on to someone who could pay the deposit. I think it was for the 4th of July so it was a pretty busy day for me.

It’s almost like... they don’t think the rules apply to them or something.
For real though there seems to be a tragic state of mind shared by those featured on this sub that the world is at their beck and call.
