That's a dick move, but unfortunately I've seen it happen before. These mom groups can be great, but they've definitely got some shitty people in them. :(
I'm not a mom but even I know people wait til about 12 weeks to tell people they are expecting and they usually tell the people themselves. That lady is fucked up for telling this woman's friends and family! You don't go around doing that!
My wife told her sister in confidence that we were expecting, sister promised not to tell anyone. Sister told everyone. We did not see a single genuine reaction when we told our families we were pregnant. Fuck you straight to Hell, wife’s sister.
