This image was made in the Sary Jaz area on the border of China and Kyrgyzstan. It's really in the middle of nowhere and you need a permit to get there. You can't get there with a normal car as the road is absolutely horrible. You really need a good 4x4. Yes, I camped there and the night sky was amazing.
