This is a bearded sea devil, a female one. The males are tiny compared to the females of this species. (This kinda looks like Venom attached to some fish).
What are the tentacle-like things on the bottom? Anyone know what purpose they serve? Such a bizarre creature. I am 39 years old and I am STILL surprised weekly with a new and bizarre creature that I never knew existed.
