There was this girl that sat in front of me in my psych class.. I didn't even know her and she turned around and pitched to me. I obviously turned her down. A year later I ended up working at the same place as her, and of course she pitched to me there too. Those people are crazy.
Yeah I once “won a pampering session” because an old roommate of mine gave the lady my number. I was told to bring friends and that we’d all get goodie bags. I hadn’t heard of Mary Kay before so I took the bait. I was sketched out because it was in a hotel lobby and instead of a pampering session it was a sales pitch where we put on lotion and our goodie bag was a single hi-chew with the lady’s business card. I told her I wasn’t interested, and she still calls me on my birthday every year to offer me an “awesome deal!” Also I don’t remember ever telling her my birthday

Mary Kay “parties” are the worst! Just a high pressure sales pitch with a little dab of product you apply yourself.
Definitely continue to spread the word to AVOID.
