I started my daily sketches last January 2016 which I post on my instagram as my new year’s resolution. School work and freelance got in the way and I was not able to continue it this year, however, I still try to find time to practice my craft. I was looking back through my early drawings when I saw a portrait I did of Margaery, I decided to repaint this to see how far I’ve come and to critique myself on what I need to improve more on.
Thought you guys here would like to see this. Game of Thrones has always been an inspiration for me
Your overall technique has definitely improved, but the original looks a lot closer to how she actually looks.
Edit: This assumes that you were trying to draw the character as she appears in the show, and not based on a book description. As I mentioned before the technique is definitely vastly improved.
