I teach, and our district policy is we can’t spray air freshener or diffuse or anything within thirty minutes of students entering our rooms. I diffuse some peppermint smelly stuff for a half hour at 6:10 when I walk in in the morning, and then spray air freshener when I drop the kids off at music or pe or whatever they have that day, then right before I leave. This is after making sure none of my kids have scent triggered issues. If I didn’t, my room would smell like the inside of a jock strap.
