I'm proud of you. My mom drank every day for over thirty years. She stopped drinking not long before she passed away from liver cancer. She knew it wouldn't change the outcome, but she was proud to know she would die sober. It doesnt matter if it's 1 day, 100 days or 10 years. You are choosing sobriety. Good job
January 1st 1993. Had a bad night. Wife woke up and didn't say a word. I knew that was the end of the line. Usually she got all pissed and yell at me. Something happened that day. I told her I would never drink again. Later that year we bought our first house and 2 years later 1st kid. Now 25 years and 3 kids later without booze.
