Our boy Leroy got hit by a car three days ago. He’s been in the hospital and had to have his back leg amputated and wound care on the other. Today he came home!
I also have a tripod. He lost one of his front legs after being hit by a car, and that happened almost 9 years ago. Our boy might be getting up there in age, but the lost leg hasn’t slowed him down. Tell Leroy that Hank assures him, everything’s gonna be alright!
A girl I knew growing up had a dog that this happened too. His name was Jake. Don't worry he was very happy and could still run about. He also had far easier access to his nuts to lick them. Jake was a ball licker.
I hate this happened to your pup. Luke (my tripod) is missing the same leg and it hasn’t slowed him down a bit. He’s usually the fastest at the dog park. It’s also hilarious to watch him try to lift his good leg on a tree.
