One of the professors had brought his computer with him took pity on me and lent me his computer.
His version of PowerPoint didn't like my SVG figures and screwed them all up, but it worked out otherwise.
My computer (since I couldn't turn it off) kept updating and finished about 10 minutes before the end of my presentation.
More importantly, I passed!
