It's still a pretty accurate costume if you look at Spidey before he becomes a master seamster.
It always bothered me that Marvel and DC never show any superheroes taking sewing classes, yet they're all amazing at it. At least Pixar knows whats up

Although sowing works too because Thanos just wrecked half of everybody and the one of the reasons he did it was to sow in peace. Can't believe they left that out of the movie...

Plus he looks exactly like Spiderman in the first movie, when he goes to fight Bonesaw in the cage.
