It’s no wonder that healthcare is the number one concern of most Americans. What’s pathetic is that Congress won’t act on it. So much for representation of the masses.
Yep. Went to the ER last April for an intestinal blockage. Got a $1200 bill from the hospital despite insurance covering it. Turns out, the hospital was covered by my insurance, but the doctor treating me in the ER wasn’t. When I called the insurance company they said ‘sorry you should’ve asked the nurse to give you another doctor.’
Literally how are you going to make sure to ask about your insurance when you’re dying of pain??
