I am in a Human-Computer Interaction Capstone course at Virginia Tech, where we explore equity in system design. Oddly enough, the Facebook share a memory feature was one of the first designs we critiqued. This is far from the first time this has happened. The worst one I saw was a picture of someone's young daughter, that died earlier that year, with an inappropriate caption.
