Our grandparents lived the most amazing lives during a time period so completely different from what we know today. I wish I had taken the time to ask them more questions while I had the chance.
Reminds me of my grandfather. After my grandmother died he didn't like living by himself so he moved in with us (took a bottom bunk bed with my little brother, both of them loved it) I was 17 and basically working full time and didn't have a car so he would drive me to work every day.
Every day I had to leave for work at 9:45 am and he would get up at 7am just to take a shower and shave to be ready on time, I was never late once. I really miss him.
