I once went to pick my disabled grandmother up from a hospital appointment and so used her disabled badge to park in one of the disabled bays by the entrance. I’d been waiting a minute or two when some old guy parked in the disabled bay next to me and came over to my window. He then started ranting at me for parking in a disabled bay, then threatened to report me for abusing the disabled badge. At that point my grandmother came out the entrance with her walker and I went to help her into the car. I look round and the old guy has quietly slipped past us into the hospital. I should add that my grandmother struggles to walk any distance, whilst this guy seemed to walk just fine, plus there were plenty of free bays.
