Sad to be the bearer of bad news, but Leo the lion died in 2016. But the keepers say that they have been extra cautious with the bear and tiger, and give them extra attention and enrichment to help with their friend's passing. They do great work at Noah's Ark sanctuary!
Were these the animals that were rescued from a drug dealer or something like that? If it is, I believe they couldn’t separate them without causing the animals a lot of stress when rescued
Apparently these three were found as "babies" together in a basement. When they were brought to the sanctuary they were naturally split up. The cats would whine all day until they put them back together with the bear and they've been together ever since. It's a neat story. The source I got this information from didn't give much information about them other than that. If anyone finds a more useful source I would be interested in it!
