Iirc, I used to have an HTC phone that had no aux port. The mind blowing part was that the HTC adapter that I had allowed me to plug in my headphones AND charge my phone at the same time.
The really stupid thing here is not having a usb-c and sticking with this stupid lightning port.... I hate to have a pair of headphones that ONLY work with my iPhone!

and then other manufacturers decide to do the same thing
google made fun of the lack of headphone jack in the first pixel's ad, and then they remove it in the second pixel
