Proceeds to tell them how good Canadian healthcare is. Like it.

My friend went into a weird coma in Toronto and had to be med-evacuated to Montreal by helicopter. I couldn’t even imagine what that would have cost her if she was a US citizen.

It turned out she had been bitten by a weird poisonous insect and did not realize it.

When her boyfriend found her she was having seizures and speaking gibberish.

I live in Canada. I don't think about medical care. I'm more than not annoyed when my wife drags me for my annual checkup; I don't want to go not because we don't have money to do it it's because I'm bored going thru all those tests. Thinking about medical bill going into hospital its actually very alien to us. Hear me: we do not think about money when we have to call an ambulance or have a long stay in the hospital. We worry about our family or sick ones; not money.
