When I was a kid, my mom was always trying to diet, but the thing is, she has no self control so if she’s dieting we couldn’t have anything fattening in the house (or else she’d eat it).
One day I’m just like, looking for snacks in the kitchen, and I hear from the spare bedroom next to it “Psssst, u/baxtersmalls, pssst” - and I look over, and my dads hiding behind the bed eating a gallon of ice cream straight from the container. I get back there and he says “don’t tell your mom”.
We hid back there and finished the whole thing. Still haven’t told my mom to this day.
