I lived in south Mississippi during Katrina and currently live in New Orleans and I can tell you that Hispanics rebuilt both those communities. These guys worked tirelessly doing the worst kind of work and if it weren’t for them we’d still be behind. I’ll always appreciate those communities for helping us out.

Nobody down here was complaining about illegals when they were getting their homes and businesses rebuilt cheaply and quickly.

Little known fact also, Bomberos de Tijuana came across the border to help combat the cedar fire in san diego. Those are some badass dudes. A city with no building codes, so tons of fires. Plus in a city the same size as san diego, they have 1/4 the amount of stations.
