Man, years ago when I worked at a parts store while in college it would piss me off when customers would come in and they were informed that the store was closing in five minutes and they would be there only to look around and then act surprised when we told them they had to leave when we just said five minutes ago the store is about to close.
I closed on time today and about ten minutes after closing this couple walks up to the door and stares at me through the window (still had a light on because I was finishing up paperwork before I left). I was doing my best to ignore them but it was hard to when they just kept standing there, staring straight at me, obviously expecting me to let them in. Like, people, the register is closed, I just turned everything off, and that closed sign has been flipped for ten minutes. I'M NOT OPENING THE STORE BACK UP FOR YOU. Eventually they left but it took them way longer to get the message than it should have.
