Tonight on my Facebook someone shared a pic of hundreds of balloons being released in remembrance of someone. I know I sound like an asshole but god damn there is a better way to remember someone than trashing the environment.
I'm a park ranger where park pavilions are rented. I've seen glitter bombs, soap parties, (think LOTS of bubbles) candy wrappers EVERYWHERE, still burning charcoal that kids hurt themselves on, glass, itty bitty confetti, chicken bones, lotion, (at least I hope that's what it was) toilet paper strewn about, and much more.
