Alex Ovechkin was holding the Stanley Cup up in the middle of the inning at the Nationals game yesterday. They didn’t put him on the Jumbotron because the ball was still in play.
Ovechkin is really having fun with the cup. He’s been taking it everywhere. The night they won he brought the cup to a Vegas nightclub and partied with Tiesto. He did a keg stand out of the cup then proceeded to swim around shirtless in a fountain with his teammates. Here he is walking the streets of DC with the cup. After hours of partying, Ovi passed out with the cup clutched tightly in his arms. Here’s the pair the morning after, Ovi clearly on cloud nine.
