I've always wondered about the airport line leading up to security. Felt to me like an even more dangerous target for hurting large groups of people rather than trying to actually get something onto a plane. Especially places like ATL where there can be hundreds of people in that tiny area.
What part of the process in bag handling makes you think they give a shit about your stuff? They toss it around, cram it in, and ship it to the wrong place. Shit, they have dogs and whatnot die in their care why would you think they care if someone walks off with your stuff?

I hate how everyone crowds the belt. It'd be nice if everyone stayed 5 feet back waiting for their bags.
