When Netflix was producing 13 reasons why they hired a psychologist to be verify that they were doing things right.

The psychologist told them that no, they did it terribly and that their portrait of suicide could become imitable behavior on mentally vulnerable viewers. Netflix proceeded to change jack shit about the show and released as it was.

Seriously though. I resonate so much with his self-destructive tendencies and it has made me look at my life from an outside perspective that I don't think I could have without the show. BoJack Horseman has honestly helped me become mentally healthier and recognize some of the traps that I've fallen into in the past.
