Edit: Did not think this was gonna get so much traction. Haha. But to let you in on some more information. Dude was not on drugs, and he claimed he did this because “he didn’t wanna wake us up in the middle of the night when he used the bathroom.” He also wasn’t an alcoholic, and it definitely wasn’t apple juice. Also dude was constantly late on rent and left messes out for us to clean up.

I had a roommate like this years ago. After I moved out and left him to his trashy abyss, he somehow broke the front door of the apartment. Instead of telling management, he just started going in and out of the window (1st floor unit). After that, he flooded his room somehow and didn't tell management until he moved out 2 months later. Pretty sure he didn't get the deposit back.
