Baby boomers be like: "it must be cell phones that is causing depression. "

Edit: Some people are taking my joke too seriously. Let me explain. Some people like to generalise that technology is what is giving millennials depression, as if that's the only factor and chose to ignore others. However there are so many factors that cause depression. I chose baby boomers because many believe about the technology thing I just stated. If we want to help people with depression, we need to find all causes of depression, not just cherry-pick what we believe because we are not as informed about it. I hope this makes sense.

I hear my co-workers who have worked where I am now for 20+ years and they talk about the company outings, the free hams at Christmas, the nice gifts for Radiologic Technologist week, how the health care covered more and cost less, how free food happened all the time, how the work load was WAAAAY less.

I sit there and listen and realize that I've never worked a job with any of those sorts of nice little perks. I drive an hour to work (student loan debt forced me to look everywhere for a job), I do my work, I don't have help and I leave stressed and tired. Lather rinse repeat until I die I guess. I'm starting to feel it too and I've only been here 9 months. I don't get to see my husband as much because I'm on midnights and he works days.

When do I get to live my life?

Is this how you seed a revolution or stop one from growing?
