That time in 2014 that I meant to text my sister about my stepmom’s gift, but actually texted my stepmom. Funny now. Was not funny then.

Well....

How'd helping her clean up go?

This reminds me of the time teenage me told a friend I was going to ask a girl out. Asked her out (she didn't actually say yes or no, which was as good as a no) and texted my friend to tell them it didn't go so well. It didn't take long for me to realize I'd just texted the girl I asked out about what happened when I asked her out.

I love stuff like this, and am so glad I've never done anything like this over a gift etc.

One Christmas I bought my mum a scarf. I spent hours trying to find the perfect one and thought I'd got it right. When my dad had gone upstairs to change, she came into the living room while I was trying out my new Wii and whispered "Do you want this scarf? Otherwise I'm going to take it back, just don't tell your dad."

To this day she still doesn't know that the scarf was from me, not my dad..
