Constructed in 1894, this seven-story mansion was located in San Francisco.
The Cliff House Hotel surprisingly survived the earthquake that struck San Francisco in 1906 with only minor damage. It burned to the ground the following year, however.

Amazing building, the way it's just perched on the cliff edge like that, shame it was destroyed and replaced with that shitty looking diner.
Also random side note, the guy who designed it was called Adolph. Really don't see that name much anymore after the whole world war thing ay.
