An assistant coach was trying to explain to Manu Ginobili about the importance of being the 6th man, so he told him it was like being the closer in a baseball game. He told him "you're Mariano Rivera coming out of the bullpen."
Pop walks in and asks what's going on.
Manu: "he's comparing me to some football player."
Assistant coach: "I was telling him he's like our Mariano Rivera"
Pop: "Mariano Rivera is a baseball player you idiot"
