LEGO's customer service is awesome. I literally had this hinge piece that broke 3 years after I got the set, and I emailed them, and they sent me a full bag of 30 replacement pieces. Like, one piece breaks and they literally sent me 30 of the piece.

I remember one time I sent a letter to the Mystery, Inc. gang with a drawing of toast with jelly I included so that Shaggy and Scooby could pretend to eat it when they were scared and whatever company my parents sent it to sent me back a glossy picture of the gang, autographed by Velma, Daphne, Shaggy, Scooby, and Fred. I lost it pretty quick, but I kept the memory from since I was like six.

What I’m saying is is that this kid will remember this shit forever. Good on LEGO.

When me and my wife were planning our wedding the mrs wanted some lego figurines for on top of the cake and found this set she wanted to buy. The problem was that the groom was standing up and I am in a wheelchair. So I emailed lego to see if they sold the wheelchair piece separately so I could buy one and put the groom in it.

I got no reply back from them and thought nothing more about it thinking its big corporate, email goes in the pile never to be seen again.

Then one day out of the blue a package appeared in my mailbox. I opened it up and inside were a bride and groom with flowers for the bride and a wheelchair for the groom.

God damn lego customer service had me crying in my driveway.
