App on my phone. Called Slow Shutter. I promise I’m not actually skilled at taking pictures.
Edit: Okay I’ve been quite informed that this is NOT technically long exposure. I blame the app, as I’m just your everyday average normal gal with no photography knowledge whatsoever. My apologies!
Edit two: Okay now I know what people mean when they say “R.I.P. inbox.” So yeah, LAYERED EXPOSURE!! Other than that, glad y’all like my boredom off day pic!! For those asking, my patronus is clearly Cthulhu. Fuck with that, dementors.
Edit three: First try here. Didn’t turn out quite as cool and I had the holder on my doggos crate vs the stool. But yep.
Just chiming in with a tidbit of info, this app wouldn't be doing a long exposure, you wouldn't get the defined different strands of smoke, etc. Seems like it's just creating a composite photo from numerous photos.
Edit: Technically, this could somewhat be recreated if a flash was involved and it was dark enough initially, but seeing as this was an app, don't think that is the case.
