In high school I would have claimed to be an ignored and neglected nice guy. As an adult with more perspective I can objectively look back and realize that I was an introvert making minimal attempt at the social interactions required to establish relationships with the opposite sex. It was easier to convince myself I was a victim.
Also, playing the victim card is not attractive at all. If you do find someone attracted to that, they likely have some heavy emotional baggage.
