In my experience it was me and the shy kid going all-out. We didn't speak to each-other but sort of communicated telepathically and e-mailed back and forth stuff being extremely formal like we were fucking business colleagues.
I was both the shy kid and the student who gave a shit. I hated taking leadership, but if my grade’s on the line and the others are too reluctant, then I have to force myself to do it.
