I'm 22 and just had a 16 year old I've never met before pretend to be me over snapchat to try and meet up with my female friends. He had one of my friends thinking I was him for over a year and made me look bad multiple times when really I had no clue what was going on. I only found out he was doing this when he started harassing my friend and she messaged me on Facebook asking if his snapchat account was mine.
After spending a week of digging I was 100% sure this kid was the culprit, and after finally getting a response from him all he could say was it was all a joke from when he was drunk with his friend.
How is stealing someone's identity to catfish a fucking joke? I've had one of the most stressful weeks because of this kid and him saying it was just a "joke" and giving no explanation was beyond infuriating. Some people are absolutely despicable.
