This woman made me furious when I first heard about her. Her sentence makes me even angrier. As a 911 dispatcher, we're told from the beginning that we have lives in our hands and if we fucked up, we're going to court. This sentencing makes that seem like a joke now.
Besides that, I don't understand why she applied for the job in the first place. I once had ONE call last 6 hours because the woman on the line said "I need help" then only mumbled from that point on. Her cell phone wasn't giving a perfect location, so we sent a deputy to search the area. He knocked on a few doors then closed the call. I was fuming. Still on the line, she's still mumbling, and the deputy closed my call. I got the supervisors over, they called every number possible connected to her phone history and they sent out the deputy again. After about 5 hours she mumbled out her numbers for her address. Her GPS showed her on that street but about 5 houses down from the numbers. We sent an engine and ALS. They knocked her door down and found her foaming at the mouth with her phone on speaker. She had a stroke.
What if I hung up? I spent 6 hours trying to make sure this woman was okay. I saved her life. What if she spoke to this dumb broad instead? I'm tearing up just thinking about it. Fuck this twat. I hope she fucks up in another part of her life and gets the actual sentencing she deserves.
