I can imagine this was such a meaningful moment in your mother's life because it probably meant quite a bit for her family and extended family. Nursing is really a fundamentally amazing profession that can Elevate people to a better life while at the same time have this huge impact on the people they serve. Yeah my wife is a nurse from a very humble beginning of the Philippines.
I seriously love photographs from the 60's-70's from Mexico. My mom and dad have a ton themselves (they're from Guadalajara) and the photos always look like this without the color and looking extra vintage.
