Oh man this just reminds me of the opening ceremony for this stadium.
The entire night focused on the fact that the stadium had a roof, but then they refused to close the roof when it started raining. The rain caused the terrible corporate singing and dancing extravaganza to turn to chaos and led to injuries. It was an amazing failure and it's all on youtube for people to enjoy!
The craziest thing was this was entirely out of the Jays control. A huge icecicle fell off of the CN Tower and punctured a hole in the roof of the Skydome. It's like God had it out for them for their arrogance.

For those not familiar with Toronto, the ice fell off the really tall tower and through the roof of the white dome thing.
