I once told my step family member (anti-vaxxer) anti science type. That science proves its worth because things based on science work! Planes based on science fly, cars based on science drive, rockets based on science reach the moon.
She came back with 1) planes fly because of aerodynamics not science. 2) cars drive because of engineering not science 3) no rockets have reached the moon, rockets don’t work in space.
