When you think about it, of course Hermione would be the most afraid of getting expelled, not because she loves school work so much, but because out of the three of them she would be the only one who would have to back to living life in the muggle world. Ron would be out of school but still very much part of the wizarding world. Harry might have to go back for a little while but he's rich and famous, I'm pretty sure he could figure out a way to stay.
But Hermione, the most enthusiastic and dedicated witch, would lose everything and have to go back to her old life knowing forever what she lost.
